NKE is hiring Application Engineers

NKE AUSTRIA GmbH is an internationally active manufacturer of premium class rolling bearings with almost 100 employees at the Steyr site and exports to more than 60 countries.
As part of the Fersa Group with production sites in Austria, Spain and China, we have a combined turnover of more than 100 million euros in the automotive, agri-tech, mechanical and electrical drive and green energy sectors.
To strengthen our team at the Steyr location, we are looking for a:
Application Engineer
Your field of activity:
You report directly to the technical coordinator in Austria and the global technical manager within the group
Technical project management of key account customers
Development of technical bearing solutions for the industrial market in close coordination with our customers
International, technical representation of NKE at customers and trade events
Fast, comprehensive technical advice and customer support together with the sales department
Elaboration of product proposals and further technical solutions in cooperation with the customer
Product improvement measures and new development proposals
Technical support for the customer service department
Product standardisation to consolidate the internal know-how of the technical team
If you bring this with you:
Advanced technical education (HTL or higher) preferably mechanical engineering or mechatronics
3-5 years of professional experience in the design and development of mechanical components / systems
Fluency in written and spoken English and German indispensable
Experience in working in international teams an advantage
Knowledge of CAD / CAE software (Solid Works, ProE, Catia, ANSYS, ABAQUS, ROMAX etc.) an advantage
Very good computer skills at user level (MS-Office, Word, Excel, Outlook)
Open, outgoing and team-oriented, able to work under pressure, used to precise work
Willingness to travel
